Professor Adam Beaumont, CEO of aql, is a visionary leader in telecommunications and digital infrastructure, with a strong commitment to sustainability and Net Zero initiatives.

As the founder of aql, he has driven efforts to enhance digital connectivity while minimising environmental impact through innovative technologies such as energy-efficient data centres powered by renewable energy.

Adam was also the founding chair of UK 5G’s Climate and Environment working group, a DSIT/DCMS initiative to integrate sustainable practices within the telecommunications sector. He was also a longstanding Trustee of the Eden Project and Non-Exec Chair of Eden Project Morecambe.
